We had a great experience and the level of service that Jorge & Antonio provided made the difference in making this a truly amazing trip. Jorge kept in touch with us daily to ensure all was good, our luggage always arrived at the destination ahead of us. We had new bikes, and when the odd thing went wrong with the equipment Antonio came and repaired what needed fixing. The only issue we had was the Garmin, which ran out of power, so they arranged for a power pack that extended its range .
We would recommend them to anyone, it made the trip enjoyable knowing they could be contacted if anything went wrong.- What was the date of your tour?

E bike ride
· Granada, White Villages and Costa del Sol
Great way to see Spain off the beaten track. New e bikes from Bicicletas La Estacion in Granada, we had an issue with brakes on one of the bikes and GPS running out of battery on our way to Loja, Antonio picked up, fixed and returned bike same night and brought back up battery for the GPS. We really recommend renting the GPS as map books are difficult to follow. Ground handler, Jorge, was awesome, he was in contact with us daily and responded immediately to any issues we had. Caminito del Rey is unbelievably beautiful, but don’t go with high expectations of Hotel La Gargantua as it is comfortable, but it is nothing like the other hotels and Paradors which exceeded expectations. We stayed two nights in Antequera and Ronda which we recommend. If you are on an ebike, conserve your battery as much as you can from Caminito to Ronda as it is a good climb. Lastly, dealing with Penelope from Bike tours.com made the planning of the trip effortless.

Camino de Santiago: From Leon to Santiago on an E-Bike
Embarking on our 10th bike tour, we ventured from Leon to Santiago using e-bikes for the first time. The journey was both exciting and challenging, offering breathtaking scenery throughout. Despite it being early spring with many closed hotels, the route was well-planned and curated for us, thanks to Sergio and his team.
The transition from paved roads in bustling areas to thrilling mountain biking paths was seamless. Potential travelers should be prepared for a significant amount of MTB terrain, making the journey quite challenging. The well-maintained e-bikes provided a sense of safety and reliability throughout our trip. In case of any issues, we were equipped with repair tools and had Sergio readily available to address any questions.
We experienced a mix of accommodations, from charming hotels to more practical one-night stays, which complemented the tour perfectly. Overall, it was a rewarding adventure that left us feeling a sense of accomplishment.

· Catalonia's Region of Empordà by Gravel Bike
We had a fantastic time on this tour. For one thing, the scenery is great, and being on gravel for a lot of the time means you get to appreciate it a bit more than we have on more road-oriented tours where we have to pay more attention to traffic.
In particular the scenery along the coasts was great, and it was obvious that great care had been taken with the routes so that we'd get to see some of the best that the Costa Brava has to offer.
Perhaps our favorite part of the tour was the local operator. They were extremely helpful and easy to reach, and always stayed in touch to make sure that everything was going well. On a day with bad weather they specifically gave us some routing tips to make sure that we'd stay safe. They also were very well organized with how they provided the routes via Ride with GPS that made it really easy to see the recommended sites and restaurants in the towns we passed through.

The rides each day were moderate as described. On the first 3 days , you ride alongside beach views. After that, you do some countryside rides. On every ride and evening there were a bunch of outside cafes to choose from. It was an excellent mix of scenery. Thanks.

· Great Pyrenees and Costa Brava E-Bike Tour
This was my first trip to Spain but my second BikeTours trip of the year. We were incredibly blessed to have good sunny weather for 95% of the trip! The bike company we worked with were very kind and helpful. I needed a replacement bike after day 2 and they quickly delivered a new one for me! The routes and maps were well planned out and gave us the opportunity to see a lot of varied terrain and some really cool little villages. It was nice to not have too much 'in town' cycling and we saw a lot of beautiful scenery along the way. My favorite was the stretch from Figueres to Lot, it was stunning. Looking forward to booking another trip in the Spring. The communication with Bike Tours is always fast and efficient and I appreciate their help each step of the way!

· Northern Spain: Cantabrian & Asturian Coasts
My husband and I took a week out of a 3-month tour of Western Europe to do this ride. We were very pleased with the staff, routes, accommodations and bicycles. Compared to the rest of our trip, we hardly had to think about anything except which charming village to explore. Between the online information, the print-outs provided, and the tour preview from the staff, we navigated easily and had many points of interest to choose from. I ride an electric bike at home and am glad I got one for this ride. My husband tackled the rolling hills, which were much more challenging than the terrain at home, on a manual bike. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff reached out before a rainy day to tell offer us a ride to the next town (my husband chose to ride and I was happy to be warm and dry). A word to the wise: The hotels provided hearty breakfasts, but pack snacks and fruits for the rides and hotels with limited food options.

· Medieval Villages of Catalonia
From the mountains to the sea - the first day's ride was spectacular! Dining options along the coast were wonderful. Inland, especially in the village of Monells, the options for dining were very limited. Accommodations were wonderful - welcoming and comfortable. The daily rides after the first day included challenging climbs, especially without an ebike, and some of the urban portions were in aggressive traffic, but overall, we found solitude and peace in this beautiful country, flying down the backsides of the hills we had conquered. The routes were easy to follow, and scenic and historical/cultural attractions were enjoyable too.

· Cycling Spain’s Land of the Conquistadors
Bike delivery from Augustine was perfect, Paradors were great, typical Spanish breakfast was plentiful, map details were accurate, routes were all on roads which were for the most part low traffic but most all had an adequate shoulder. The local operator was very helpful to get us transported to the next Parador on a rainy day. Some moderate climbs, so some cycling experience would be advised. We did it at the beginning of October so cooler nights and warm days but not hot.

First time experiencing Spain on a bike ! Trails were a little hard to find even with GPS as my husband and I are not good a navigating. But we loved the challenge. The diversity of our area & hotels were fabulous. Folks along our journey were very helpful and Daniel our main guy did a great job to make our trip memorable. Stunning
· Camino de Santiago: From Leon to Santiago (Premium)
I can not speak highly enough of this bike tour. It takes you to the spiritual heart of Spain from Roman times forward. The geographical dimensions are equally as spectacular as you follow the Camino de Santiago from Leon to Santiago de Compostela. Say yes when you get asked for an e-Bike. There is some work to do. Just in the same manner as a Peregrino.
The best part is the hosts - Sergio and Felipe. Attentive, passionate about cycling, and a real attention to detail when it comes to making the most of the experience. Best bike ride I have ever been on.- What was the date of your tour?

· Bilbao Gold Coast E-Bike Tour
Bikes were great, guide was excellent. We learned a lot about the history and culture of Bilbao and discussed many interesting topics with our group of four. Hearing what our guide was saying was sometimes a challenge but it is hard to bunch together on a sunny Sunday in September - people and other riders are out and about too.

· Wine & Cuisine in Girona's Emporda Plain
Bike tours, Catalonia was an exemplary tour operator for us. The entire entire office staff welcomed us and rallied around getting our bikes ready to start out on the tour. Our tour guide and sag wagon drivers were fantastic help, and great company throughout. Girona and the whole Costa Brava tour route Was most enjoyable. The beach resort center were very highly developed, and not the sort of bucolic experience we seek , but we’re nonetheless not unpleasant. We were not overly impressed by the restaurant cuisine, in particular found the Michelin star restaurant to be more pretentious than interesting. We would skip that to Ed in a more representative local restaurant another time.

Perfect
· Best of Catalonia Cycle Touring
This was a perfect tour for us. It was challenging but not so much we felt excessively tired. The scenery was beautiful and the trails were either gravel or paved and either way the bikes were the perfect choice. The villages we passed by or stayed in were in scenic areas. There were plenty of places to stop for coffee or lunch. The hotels were exquisite and well-located. Daniel was very responsive and helped out immediately when one of our GPSs glitched. This trip was all we could have imagined and more.
